NannyPay launching a hoodie line was not on my 2025 bingo card. We’re a payroll service. We talk tax, super, and payslips – not how soft fleece should be.
But the more time I’ve spent working with nannies, the more I’ve realised that advocacy can’t just be about compliance. It has to be cultural too.
Because even when nannies are paid correctly (and let’s be honest – many still aren’t), that doesn’t always translate to being respected or recognised for the critical role they play in families’ lives.
So Club Nanny was born.
It’s more than merch. It’s a badge of honour and a gentle protest. A way for nannies to say I’m proud of what I do, and for others to say I see you, and I back you.
Why We Created Club Nanny (and Why the Hoodie and other Products are Not Just for Nannies)
There’s something special about the work nannies do. It’s not just childcare – it’s deep emotional labour, household management, and often the glue that holds a family’s week together. And yet, this work is still undervalued, underpaid, and misunderstood.
That’s why we created Club Nanny.
It started as a conversation about how we could help nannies feel seen. We’ve always been committed to fair pay and compliance at NannyPay, but we also recognise that culture matters too. So we asked: What would it look like if nannies had a uniform that actually reflected the pride they take in their work?
Not scrubs. Not branded polos.
Something cool. Comfy. With meaning.
So we made hoodies and caps but more importantly, we made a symbol.
A badge of honour for nannies. And a badge of support for everyone else.
Club Nanny is for:
Nannies who know their worth
Agencies who do it right
Parents who back their nanny
Allies who care about the future of the sector.
When someone wears Club Nanny merch, it shows they’re part of something bigger – a community that’s pushing for a better, more professionalised future for in-home care.

Why the sales matter
We’re not a merch company. But the funds from Club Nanny help fuel the work we do at NannyPay to support the industry in more ways than one:
Investing to be the major sponsor of the 2025 Australian Nanny Convention in Brisbane, where nannies can connect, learn, and feel celebrated
Running national research projects that gather real-world data on pay, conditions, and working life
Seeking media coverage to shine a light on the gaps and start conversations that need to happen
We can’t do that kind of work without community backing. So, when you buy a hoodie, you’re not just getting something comfortable to wear (although they are incredibly soft). You’re helping keep this movement alive.
You don’t have to be a nanny to join the club.
Perhaps you’re a parent who wants to express gratitude to the individuals who help raise your children. Maybe you’re an agency that values doing things properly. Perhaps you’re someone who believes in fair work and wants to demonstrate it.
This is for you too.
Thank you for being here and for being part of something that matters.
